Laura Ann Stricklen, 62, of Benton, Arkansas joined her heavenly father on Friday, May 16, 2025. She was born on May 6, 1963 in Little Rock, Arkansas to George and Abbie Stricklen (Purvis).
Laura was such a marvelous musician and played the piano for her church. She loved the Lord and came to trust him at a very early age. Laura absolutely enjoyed church and you could always find her getting caught up in bible discussions. She adored animals, especially cats. Laura loved her family and enjoyed every moment spent with them. She was so kind and caring, always showing the love of God to others and giving them comfort or words of encouragement.
Laura is preceded in death by her father, George Stricklen; sister, Julia Ann Stricklen and one infant sister; grandparents, Ed and Ruie Stricklen, and Andrew and Lottie Purvis.
She is survived by her mother, Abbie Stricklen, Her best friend who she loved like a sister, Jan Smith; along with many other family members and friends who all love her and will miss her dearly.
Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, May 21,2025 at 12:00 P.M with visitation one hour prior at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park at 1:00 P.M.
