Laura J. Whincup

Laura J. Whincup, 56, of Everett, MA, died Monday February 3, 2025 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, MA surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 17, 1968 in Boston, MA, a daughter of Leona (Gould) Whincup and the late Ronald Whincup. Laura had been a resident of Everett for the past one year, formerly living in Derry, NH. She was a graduate of Swampscott High School and Marion Court College. At age 16, she studied to become a hairdresser. Laura had been employed as a critical care technician at Catholic Medical Center and the VA Hospital. She enjoyed crafts and loved to read.
In addition to her mother of Beverly, MA; she is survived by her daughter, Alicia Robinson of Beverly; her granddaughter, Summer Verb of Beverly; as well as several cousins. She was predeceased by her aunt, Jean Gould and her uncle, Kenneth Whincup.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 11th at 11:00am at the Swampscott Cemetery, 400 Essex St., Swampscott, MA. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry, NH are assisting the family with arrangements.
