Laurel Suzanne Mains passed away on Tuesday, October 21st at the age of 66.
Laurel had a dry sense of humor. She would say something and it would take a minute but then you would get it, and it was always quite funny. She was also old school when it came to writing notes. Sending cards was her love language, and she always wrote thank you notes, even if she had already said thank you in person or over the phone. Her personal notes will always be remembered.
Laurel was a member of Grace Central Church and, prior to that, of Christ Community Church. She leaves behind many friends in both communities, as well as at Keystone Ridge Post Acute Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Laurel is survived by her brothers Harold Mains and Alfred Mains and sister Alice Luciano. She was preceded in death by her sister Anita Huelle and brother Richard Mains, as well as her mother Lois Wheeler Mains and her father William Mains.
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life.”
—John 11:25
