Laurel Zimmer Obituary

Laurel was born on October 2, 1963 in Evanston, IL, daughter of the late Ronald J. and Patricia Mae (Dick) Zimmer. She attended schools in Libertyville, IL and graduated with the class of 1981 from Libertyville High School. Laurel then attended Galludet University in Washington D.C. where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree, then University of Missouri where she received a Masters Degree. She was an avid crafter enjoying knitting and crocheting. Laurel also enjoyed collecting DVD movies. She worked thirty years as a plant mounting specialist at the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Missouri.
She is survived by her brother: Michael Zimmer, Two Rivers; two nephews: Joseph Ehmke Zimmer and Matthew Ehmke Zimmer, both of Two Rivers.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
