Laurelyn Rae Reis, 56, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on December 10, 2024, in New York City, NY.
A funeral service will be held at Silverton Funeral Home on December 22, 2024, at 1:30 with Reverend Susan Jones of Holy Cross Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation will be held at Silverton Funeral Home on December 22, 2024, between 10 AM and 2 PM.
Laurelyn Rae Reis was born in Point Pleasant, NJ, to Jack and Jacqueline Homer on August 1,1968. She attended Central Regional High School in Bayville, NJ, and graduated in 1986. She worked as a Veterinary Technician for Creatures Large and Small and Adamston Veterinary Clinic of Brick NJ for nearly twenty-five years. Laurelyn enjoyed running, swimming, time at the beach, boating, training her family dogs, and skiing. She was an active member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church, involved in their choir and Sunday School youth teaching.
Laurelyn is survived by her spouse, Morgan Reis of Toms River, NJ; her three daughters: Ashley Koph of Toms River, NJ, Jessica Reis and future son-in-law John Damiani of Palm Bay, FL, and Jayme Reis of Toms River, NJ; her grandchildren: Astrid and Olivia of Toms River, NJ; and her pets: two dogs, Ahyuka and Wyatt, and a cat, Luna. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Jacqueline Homer.
