Lauretta is survived by her siblings, Sylvia Shaw and Denver Pumpkin Seed; and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Lauretta was preceded in death by her parents, Bessie Lipp and William Pumpkin Seed, Jr.; and siblings, Lloyd, Duane, George, Arthur, Roselyn, Linda Marie, Stephen and Michael
Pallbearers will be Daniel Pumpkin Seed, Sylvan Pumpkin Seed, Darrin Pumpkin Seed, Cleveland Pumpkin Seed, Leonard Yellow Elk, Richard Pumpkin Seed, and Kieara Pumpkin Seed.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
Wake Services: One night wake service starting at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 16, 2025 at the TNT Center in Wanblee, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.
Funeral Services: 11:00 AM, Friday, October 17, 2025 at the TNT Center in Wanblee, SD
Officiating: To Be Announced
Traditional Lakota Services: Ernest Red Owl
Burial Services: Gethsemane Episcopal Cemetery, Wanblee, SD
Arrangements entrusted with the Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD
