It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Laurie Jean Cianflone on December 27, 2024. Laurie was born to Allan and Jean (Magnotta) Cianflone on January 12, 1982 in White Plains, NY. She graduated from Westlake High School in 2000 and went on to attend SUNY Purchase where she pursued her passion for the arts.
Laurie dedicated much of her life to sharing her love of dance as an instructor at various dance studios. Her kind and generous spirit touched the lives of many students and colleagues alike. Laurie's love of animals lead her to start a dog walking business where she gained and maintained friendships with her furry clients and their owners. Laurie then took her creative passion and started Pin Up Custom Apparel in Hawthorne, NY.
Laurie's favorite pastime was being on her boat and fishing, something she always did with her father growing up. She enjoyed attending her nephew's baseball and football games proudly cheering (or yelling) the loudest!
Laurie was predeceased by her father, Allan J. Cianflone in 2020. She is survived by her loving mother, Jean Cianflone (John Dubbioso), siblings, Jeneen (Jon Olsz), Allan II and Frank. She is also survived by boyfriend, Sean Pennelle.
Laurie adored her cherished nephews, Jaxon, Nicholas and Cole Cianflone, Frederick Olsz and niece Antonia Cianflone.
Laurie was part of a large extended family including many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss her dearly.
Those who knew Laurie will remember her for her beautiful smile, her compassionate soul, her witty sense of humor and her generous nature. She will be missed by her beloved cats, Charlie and June.
In lieu of flowers, the Cianflone family wishes donations be made in Laurie's honor to: Wagging Tails Dog Rescue NY, www.waggingtailsdogrescueny.com checks can be mailed to: 60 Virginia Lane, Thornwood, NY 10594 or Venmo: @waggingtailsDRNY.
This is an organization that was near and dear to her heart.
