Laurie Ann Jeffries, 61, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Laurie was a wonderful wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. She had a heart of gold and would always be there to help if you needed her. Music, movies, and books were on the top of her list for passions. She was an amazing cook and cherished Sunday morning breakfast with her family and don't forget the chocolate cake. Laurie will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She was born on June 29, 1963 in Louisville, Kentucky to Bobby and Martha (Wolf) Shockley. She is preceded in death by her Father, Bobby Shockley, Mother, Martha Wolf, Brother, Harold Short, and Sister, Trisha Shockley.
Laurie is survived by her loving Husband of 41 years, Joseph "Joe" Craig Jeffries, Sr.; Sons, Joseph Craig (Tiffany) Jeffries, Jr., Jason (Kristin) Jeffries, and Jacob (Anastasia) Jeffries; Grandchildren, Gracie Jeffries, Nesta Jeffries, Ryan Jeffries, Stanley Jeffries, Zachary Jeffries, Raelee Jeffries, and Roxie Jeffries; Siblings, Rhonda Neeley, Lisa Keith, Joe (Jennifer) Shockley, Dawn Shockley, and Jonathan Shockley, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
The Celebration of Life will be held on Friday February 21, 2025 from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the VFW Post (7111 Lower Hunters Trace Louisville, KY 40258)
