LaVerne V Heermann

Celebration of Life for LaVerne V. Heermann age 88 of Neligh, Nebraska will be May 16, 2025 at the Neligh American Legion for 5:00-8:00 p.m. a service will 5:30-6:00 p.m. A luncheon and fellowship will follow. LaVerne passed away peacefully January 30, 2025 at Creighton Avera Hospital in Creighton, Nebraska.

LaVerne Victor Heermann was born on April 5, 1936. LaVern had a love for life that was reflected in his love for family, in his hunting, fishing and many trips to Sturgis. LaVerne enlisted in the United State Army from January 20, 1955 to December 20, 1956. He was Private First Class during the Korean War.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Havey and Stella (Hledjik) Heermann and Leonard Wehrer. His Brother Ronald Heermann.
Survived by 3 daughters. Karmen (Rick) Hoffman of Clearwater, NE; two grandsons, Josh of Rushmore, MN; Alex (Brittnie) Lambrecht of Orchard, NE; two grandchildren Randi (Dylan) Mack of Clearwater, NE; and Kasy Shenshew of Clearwater, NE. 3 great granddaughter and 6 great grandsons. Daughter Shannon Olson of Neligh, NE. Two granddaughters, Jacqueline (Jackie) Olson of Neligh, NE; Sheena Olson of Petersburg, NE; and son Javis (Ally) Olson of Hope Mills, NC. 5 great grandsons and two great granddaughters. Daughters, Serena Heermann and Wendy Stutzman of Dannebrog, NE.
