LaVonne Ann Friest
October 7, 1937 – November 26, 2024
LaVonne Ann Friest, 87, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2024, in Basin, Wyoming. She was born on October 7, 1937, to Hans and Delphine Leona (Busch) Jensen in Brentford, South Dakota. LaVonne graduated from Brentford High School and went on to live a life full of love and family.
On June 15,1958, LaVonne married the love of her life, Ronald Alvin Friest, in Redfield, South Dakota. LaVonne was the heart of her family, known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.
In her free time, LaVonne enjoyed cross-stitching, reading, cooking and sold Avon for many years.
LaVonne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ron Friest; brother, Danny Jensen; sisters, BeBe Wright, Vicky Dvorak, Marsha Ferguson and Deanna Logar.
She is survived by her children, Debbie Friest (Ray) of Lexington, Nebraska, Ladd Friest of Basin, Dawn (Bill) Tinney of Muskegon, Michigan, Lonnie Friest of Worland; Wendy (Robert) Block of Lemmon South Dakota; Penny Friest of Basin; Brandie (James) Gobble of Flagstaff, Arizona, and brother, Douglas Jensen of Fruita, Colorado and three grandchildren they raised Chasity, Jacob, and Jason.
There were thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren in her life.
