Lawrence M. Conley, 84, of Panama City Beach, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
Lawrence was born on June 8, 1939 in Warren, MI. He served as the Executive Director of The United Way from the early 1980's through 1993. Lawrence lived life to the fullest, loved deeply and inspired others to do the same.
Lawrence is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence H. and Vesta B. Conley; daughter, Laura L. Hess; and brother, Jerry Conley.
Left to treasure his memory is his wife of 64 years, Carole J. Conley; son, Lawrence K. Conley; grandchildren, Melissa and Jacob Gelardos, Justin and Kayla Hess, Angela and Nicholas Cole, Sierra Lee Scandrett, Emanual J. Lea-Scandrett and Ethan and Gracie Hess; ten great-grandchildren; siblings, Vee and John Wiefermann, Trudy and John Lee and Mark Conley; and sister-in-law, Sherrie Conley.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ our Savior Lutheran Church, 300 Clara Ave, Panama City Beach, with reception to follow the service.
