Lawrence Eckl Obituary

Lawrence "Larry" Francis Eckl, age 75 of Harris, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at M Health Fairview Hospital in Wyoming.

Larry was born January 14, 1949 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Warren and Marcella (Magnunson) Eckl. He married his high school sweetheart Rosemary Ann Otto (Rose). Larry and Rose moved to Harris, Minnesota in 1975 to raise their growing family. Larry was a member of the Harris Fire Dept. for over 30 years which he took great pride in. He held many different positions and retired as Fire Chief.

Larry was the most loving father to his daughters Christina (Jamin), Shannon and Sara (Kieran). Loving grandfather to Jeremiah (Ashley), Josiah (Sierra), Taylor (Asa), Alex (Alliyah) and great-grandfather to Isla Fern. He is also survived by siblings Donna (Jerry), Mary (Loren), Carol, Cathy, John (Nancy) and many nieces and nephews.

Larry is preceded in death by parents Warren and Marcella and brother Warren II.

Celebration of life to be determined at a later date.
