Lawrence (Larry) Richard Fowler was born in Baltimore, Maryland, to Alfred M. Fowler Jr. and Mabel L. Yingling on January 13, 1938.

He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church located on St John's Lane in Ellicott City. He at one time was an Elder at the church and preached several sermons. He read his Bible everyday up until the last few days of his life. He could quote verse and scriptures accurately up until his passing. He donated many Bibles and religious articles to the church.

He never knew a stranger and would speak with anyone and everyone that he met. He garnered many friends who were in constant contact with him during his life up until his passing.

He was an avid Baltimore Oriole and Baltimore Raven fan. He spoke almost daily to his brother Alfred about the progress of both teams and would give his opinion on the correct moves both teams should make to improve.

Larry was preceded in death by his mother Mabel, father Alfred Jr., and his brother John.

Larry is survived by his wife of 34 years Carole Grim, daughter Marlene Day (husband John), Granddaughter Lisa Salibrici (husband Jonathan), Grandson Matthew (wife Sarah) and their children. He is also survived by his wife's children from a previous marriage, Denise Morris (husband John), Jennifer Kidner (husband Ashley), and Scott McBrian (wife Dee) and their children.

He is also survived by his sisters Dolores Klenner (Maitland Florida), Jean Perro (Spring Texas), and brother Alfred (Spring, Texas).

Visitations will be held November 12, 2025, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm with a funeral service on Thursday November 13, 2025, at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 10:45 am. at the Garrison Forrest Veteran's Cemetery in Owings Mills, Maryland.
