Lawrence "Larry" Huepenbecker, age 67, of Hillsdale, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Rose Arbor Place in Kalamazoo. He was born October 17, 1957, in Hillsdale to William and Edna (Crawford) Huepenbecker. He married Linda Adkins on May 24, 1980, and she preceded him in death on April 13, 2013.
Larry graduated from Reading High School, Class of 1975. He was most recently employed at Bildner & Co. in Hillsdale where he was a Certified Public Accountant. Larry loved to travel and spend time at the bowling alley and on the golf course. He was also a loyal fan of the Detroit Lions and the University of Michigan. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending their athletic events.
Survivors include his father, William Huepenbecker; children, Lynnann (Jason) Fuller of Hillsdale, Lance (Brittney) Huepenbecker of Kalamazoo and Lonny (Amber) Huepenbecker of Auburn, IN; grandchildren, Matthew and Zoe Woodruff, Jason Fuller, Jr. and Lucas and Carter Huepenbecker; and brother, Lowell (Amy) Huepenbecker.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Huepenbecker; wife, Linda; and brother, LaVern Huepenbecker.
Funeral services for Lawrence Huepenbecker will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Reading with Rev. Alan Fenstermaker officiating. Burial will follow at South Allen Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday from 12 Noon until the time of service. Following the graveside, there will be a luncheon held at the Hillsdale Rural Fire Department at 2323 W Bacon Rd. Hillsdale from 4:00-7:00 PM.
