Lawrence "Larry" Schoettler Obituary
Lawrence “Larry” Adolph Schoettler, age 73 of St. Peter, Minnesota and formerly of Mankato passed away Monday March 11, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems - Methodist campus in Rochester, Minnesota.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 19, 2024, at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will be held one hour before the service Friday. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Mankato.
Larry was born April 22, 1950, to Raymond and Patricia (Bohnert) Schoettler in Mankato. He graduated from Mankato High School in 1968. Larry worked at C & N Sales, Reliance Electric, V-Tech and was a part-time bar tender at the Morson Ario and Eagle Lake American Legion.
Larry was a member of the Son’s of the American Legion and the Mankato J.C’s
He enjoyed bowling, racket ball and throwing darts.
Larry is survived by his six siblings, Chuck (Holly) Schoettler, Margaret (Jeannine Johnson) Schoettler, Craig Schoettler, Linda (Kristen) Boyes, Sue (Arik) Andersen, Amy (Mike) O’Toole; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Adam Schoettler.
