Lawrence Porter Obituary
Dale was raised in Panama City and graduated from Rutherford High School in 1965. He owned and operated Porter's Performance for many years and retired from SECO performance. Dale loved attending race car events and working on race cars. He was a dedicated and loving husband and father as well as a wonderful brother.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Hubert and Betty Ruth Porter; son, Jeffery Richard Porter; and brother, David Lamar Porter.
Left to treasure his memory is his wife of 55 years, Debra Anita Porter; daughter, Stephanie Ruth Porter; son, Lawrence Kevin Porter (Yuka); grandchildren, Kai Nathan Porter, Lyu David Porter, Rylee Singletary and Kiera Singletary; sisters, Linda Gail May and Judy Diane Tedeschi (Anthony); brothers-in-law, Roy McSwiney and Steve McSwiney (Cheryl); and numerous nieces, nephews and long-time friends.
A visitation will take place Friday, March 6, 2026 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home, with a memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m.
