Lazette Randolph Procter

Lazette Randolph Procter, 75, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 in Lake Charles. Mrs. Procter was born on June 8, 1948 in Alexandria, LA to Vernon Miller Randolph and Mary Catherine Null Randolph.
Lazette was a 1967 graduate of La Grange High School. She taught Sunday School and served as the Church Secretary and head of the Benevolence Committee for many years at Westlake Church of God. She was also a member and Worthy Matron for the Order of the Eastern Star in Westlake. Lazette worked in outside sales for Thrifty Nickel and the American Press were she later retired from the American Press. She loved cooking for her family, enjoyed gardening and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 56 years, Richard Procter; children, Tressa Procter-King (Kage), Crystal Miller (Bobby); grandchildren, Vaughan King, Graham King, Faith Miller, Seth Miller, Maci Mims and Sage Mims; sister, Nancy Kim Mouton (Alfred); and numerous nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Kitty Sevedge and Karen Ann Fontenot.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January, 26, 2024 at 10:00am at Westlake Church of God with Rev. Rocky East officiating. Burial will follow in Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Westlake Church of God on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 8:00pm and will resume on Friday at 9:00am until service time.
