Leawood Harrison departed this life on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the age of 60. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Terrytown, LA. Leawood attended L. B. Landry and O. Perry Walker High, where he played the trumpet. He was employed with King’s Company for 13 years. Beloved husband of 24 years to Annette Harrison. Loving father of Leawood Harrison, Jr., Landon Harrison, Sr., Demtrius Williams, and Shawnaisha Williams. Devoted grandfather of Leawood Harrison, III, Sairen Harrison, Loriel Harrison, A’mya Harrison, Antonio Jimcoly, Landon Harrison, Jr., A’Lasha Harrison, Denim Jefferson, Dash Jefferson, Demetruis Williams, Jr., and Jamal Crockett. Son of the late Janell A. Harrison Watson. Nephew of Ophelia Bownes, Urslanda McKinnies, Diana Harrison and Lettie Jean Harrison. Godfather of Devin Hayes. Devoted cousin of Sylvon Dent and Ernest Harrison. Devoted friend of Mark Redo, Cerrilo Jackson, Ray Baggs, Lenny Castano, Todd Stiebing, and Gary Chetta. Leawood is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Private Service were held. Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA.
