Lee Blair

The Blair Family is sad to announce the passing of LEE ROY BLAIR, JR. due to natural causes.
We all know that he is flying high to Heaven to join up with our Mom, Joanne Barnes Blair that preceded in death him in December 2024 which left a big hole in his heart and now will be rejoined to continue their companionship. They were married in July 1956 at Hutto Baptist Church, Hutto Texas and celebrated 68 years of marriage before her passing.
His wealth of knowledge and knack of being able to fix or build things will be greatly missed but hopefully we have absorbed some of his great traits. If we missed him in the house, he would be at his hangar where he built an airplane, tinkered with it and would hand wash it to keep it shiny and clean.
This year has been difficult since Mom passed, his brother Bobby Blair passed and his cousin Betty Blair Henry recently passed, they are waiting for him in Heaven as well.
Born and raised in Austin Texas, parents are Lee Roy Blair, Sr. and Dorothy Marie Piper Blair.
Lee Roy is survived by his brother Kenneth Blair and wife, Elyse and Sister-in-law Tana Blair.
His sons are David Blair and wife Diane, Gary Blair and wife Delee and daughter Lisa Blair, the family grew with grandchildren and great grandchildren to join together to celebrate his life.
The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice/Georgetown for their attention and care by Cindy, Brenda and Dee which kept him smiling each time they came in to see him.
