Lee A. (Adams) Dains, 78, of Waynesburg, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at her home with her family by her side.
Lee was born on February 23, 1947, in Hazlewood, PA, the daughter of Arthur Adams and Lois (Glatch) Mccafferty.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Cindi Lee Phillips, and her brother, David Adams.
Lee was a member of the Waynesburg Senior Citizen Center and the Waynesburg Moose. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, gardening and taking care of her pets.
Lee is survived by her husband, Robert Dains, children, Forrest Dains and wife Kim and Tami Herrod and husband Jack, step sons, Robert L. Dains II, Roy Dains and wife Susan, and John Dains and wife Abbey, grandchildren, Ryan Herrod and husband Richard, Reba Herrod, Austin Herrod, Ashleigh Magazine and Kodi Dains, 2 great grandchildren, Ashlan and Everett, siblings, Arthur Adams and wife Celeste, Linda Badstibner and husband Bill, Candy Schmidt and husband Bill, Mike Adams and wife Terry and Helen Koontz, several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements are private and under the direction of the DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory, 65 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, PA, 15401, Stacey A. Dolfi, FD. Interment is private.
The family would like to thank nurse Jackie Workman from Amedisys Hospice.
