Breaux Bridge- A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 09, 2025 at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge for Lee Roy "Stab" Melancon, 82, who passed away on October 3, 2025.
A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge on Thursday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Father Reed will officiate at the funeral service.
Burial will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
Lee was born on February 4, 1943 in Breaux Bridge.
He is survived by his companion; Judy Freeman; children, Terry Melancon, Graig Melancon and Cynthia (Ricky) LaGrange; siblings, Lloyd (Jane) Melancon and Vivian Melancon Robin; grandchildren, Faythe Hebert, Brooke Carriere, Leslie Powell and Raynee Montet; 9 great grandchildren; and his grandchild that he help to raise Annabell Aria.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Zula Mae Noel Melancon; son, Johnny Blaine Melancon; parents, Dewey and Lota Blanchard Melancon.
Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
