Lee Rick, age 60 of Litchfield, passed away at his home on Monday, January 15, 2024. A memorial service will be held at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 12:00PM. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior.
Lee Anthony Rick, the son of Joel and Brenda (Rosenow) Rick was born on August 3, 1963 in Litchfield, MN. Lee was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Litchfield, MN. He graduated from Litchfield High School in 1981, and attended Hutchinson Technical College for a year. Lee has lived in Litchfield his entire life, and has made his living dairy farming from 1979 to 1994. Dairy farming was truly his passion. He also worked at Towmaster for 10 years and drove school bus for Hicks Bus Line. Lee enjoyed socializing with friends, and anything that had to do with dairy farming.
Lee is survived by his mother Brenda Rick, and siblings Jeff Rick of Kimball, MN; and Janelle Peterson (Derrald) of Minneapolis, MN. Nephews Nicholas, Tyler and Carter.
Preceding him in death was his father Joel Rick, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles.
In Lieu of flowers or plants memorial donations may be made to Meeker County Cardiac Rehab or the American Red Cross.
