Lee Andrew Sobczak, age 58, of Grandville, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 15, 2024. He was born December 27, 1965, in Grand Rapids, MI to Frederick Sobczak and Diana Vlahos.
Lee had a strong faith in the Lord and was a God-fearing man and loved others. He was passionate about music and had an amazing voice, which could be enjoyed by others at fun karaoke outings. Lee loved to travel, especially to Florida and loved spending time with his family. He was a car enthusiast and would take the time and had the patience needed to detail vehicles.
Survivors include his mother, Diana Kanoza; siblings, Diana Beekman, Craig (Sue) Sobczak, Brett Sobczak, Kristie Marsh (Sobczak), and Michael (Lindsay) Sobczak; best friend, Roy Hawkins; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Sobczak.
Per Lee's wishes his body was laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, Grand Rapids and private family services were held.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Emmanuel Hospice for their care and compassion throughout this difficult time.
