LELA PEARCE

PEARCE, Lela "Geraldine," age 80, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Geraldine was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Linwood McCoy Pearce. Geraldine was also preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Lela Sasser; an infant daughter, Brenda Carol Pearce; brothers, Hubert, Milton Earl and Kenneth Sasser; sisters, Mavis Kroupa and Lois Broussard; grandson, Charlie McCoy Pearce. Geraldine is survived by sons, Ronnie McCoy Pearce Sr. (Elaine) and Randy Clint Pearce (Debbie); grandchildren, Ronnie McCoy Pearce Jr. (Reba Nicole), Brittney Nicole Pearce, Melanie Blough (Dan) and Elizabeth Trail (Brandon); great-grandchildren, Gabe Blough, Chase Blough, Preston Trail, Camden Trail, and great-grandson-to-be, Levi Earl-McCoy Pearce; brother, Leroy Sasser (Dolly); and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Echols Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Echols Funeral Home Chapel, followed by interment in Emporia Cemetery.
