Mr. Lemuel Louis "Junior" Brindley, age 80, of Madison, Indiana, formerly of Seymour, Indiana, entered this life on October 21, 1944 in Madison, Indiana. He was the son of the late Lemuel Louis and Lelia Juanita (Konkle) Brindley. Junior was a 1964 graduate of the Madison High School in Madison, Indiana. Junior was united in marriage on June 6, 1970 in North Carolina to Sheila Lynn Egerton and they shared over 55 years of marriage together. Junior was employed as a machinist for Cummins in Columbus, Indiana, retiring in 2011, after 40 years of service. Junior resided in the Seymour community for over 50 years before residing in Madison, Indiana for the past year. He was a member of the Son's of the American Legion Post #89 and the Fraternal Order of Eagle's #655 in Seymour, Indiana. Junior enjoyed listening to country music. Junior passed away at 8:10 a.m., Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at the Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana.
Junior will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Sheila Lynn (Egerton) Brindley of Madison, Indiana and her family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lemuel Louis Brindley and his mother, Lelia Juanita (Konkle) Brindley.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 9, 2025, by Pastor Jamie Hall, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Cards are available at the funeral home or online at www.haskellandmorrison.com
