Lenesha Breann Owens, 34, passed away on November 5th, 2025. Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, November 15th, 2025, at 10 am at Greater St. James Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Friday, November 14th, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary.
Lenesha Breann Owens born September 27th, 1991 to Leonard Earl Owens and Sheryl Lynn Rafe Owens. She attended Parkway Elementary, Alderson Jr. High, and graduated from Estacado High School. She received her EKG license shortly after but continued working as a home health care provider at Cherry Tree and DNS. She then decided to change jobs to customer service at VXI then AT&T.
She never married or had children, only her fur babies Blue Money & Little (dogs), black & sunny (cats) but her favorite of all was King (pitbull).
She was a bright light everywhere Lenesha went. She attracted people and made many friends with her bright smile and outgoing personality, she was also very tech savvy.
Lenesha is preceded in death by her father Leonard Earl Owens, brother Shelby Lyndon Owens, nephews Leowens and Sheowens Owens (twins), grandmothers Barbara Rafe and Annie Lang, grandfather Bobby Rafe and Leonard Owens, Sr.
Lenesha is survived by her mother Sheryl Lynn Owens, her brother Shetarrie Denard Owens (Charity), nephews Oziah and Nealis Owens of Georgetown, TX Jermodrick Brown of Lubbock, TX, uncle Robert Rafe (Kay) of Oklahoma City, OK, stepfather Steven Finch of Lubbock, TX, and a host of other relatives and friends.
