Lenore Liebman, passed away on April 24,2025.
The daughter of the late Morris and Jean Abramson, she was born in Far Rockaway, NY on May 30, 1928. Leni and Barney moved to Norwalk when they married in 1949 and raised their family there.
Lenore was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She and her husband Barney liked nothing more than being with their family and having everyone gather at their home to spend time together. Many fun get-togethers with the family took place in the Liebman dining room or on the outdoor patio over the years.
Lenore is survived by her 3 daughters, Beth Church, Susan Lange (Jeffrey), and Judith Meyers. She also leaves 7 grandchildren: John, Michael, Jonathan, Andrew, Jared, Rebecca, and Heidi, as well as great-grandchildren Daniel, Benjamin, Parker, Annabelle, Peyton, and Blume.
Lenore was pre-deceased by her husband Bernard, her brother Kenneth, as well as her son-in-law Paul, her son-in-law Larry, and her great-granddaughter Alexandra.
The Liebman family wishes to express their love and gratitude to her caretakers, especially Vilma, "Mrs. L's" long time caregiver and "best friend".
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, April 27, at 1:30 PM at the Beth Israel Cemetery on Richards Avenue in Norwalk.
Friends and family are welcome to join us at the home of Beth Church after the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lenore's memory can be made to: 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer's - Fairfield County: Search for a Participant or Team | Walk to End Alzheimer's Team McKee or Temple Shalom, 259 Richards Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06850

The Meyers family loved you, Leni, and we always loved your visits to Florida and to
Paul and Judy´s home for big get togethers!

So sorry to hear of Mrs.Liebmans passing. I serviced their swimming pool for over 40 years. I have never met a kinder, nicer human being ever. She and Barney were my first customer when I started, and remained after my son Eric took over. From the entire Duff family, our condolences to Beth and the rest of family...

I am so sorry to hear of Leni's passing. I have so many wonderful memories growing up on Live Oak road, with Leni and Barney the family and all the neighbors together. Sending love and condolences from Santa Barbara.
