Leo Normand Dube, 73, of Nashua, passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. He was born on January 5, 1950, in Nashua, NH to the late Leo and Olive (Thibault) Dube.
Growing up Leo attended St. Francis Xavier grade school, then went on to graduate from Bishop Guertin High School, before receiving an associate degree at Lowell Tech.
Leo was the beloved husband of Sylvia (Cote) Dube with whom he shared 51 beautiful years of marriage.
For 38 years, Leo worked as a truck driver. For 30 years he was employed by Blue Line Express and St. Johnsbury driving a semi-truck; while he was a member of Teamsters Local 633 in Manchester. He retired from driving semi-trucks and began working for Park Construction for eight years until his retirement in 2011.
In his free time, Leo loved spending time at Forest Lake Campground in Winchester, NH where his family were seasonal campers for over 30 years. He also loved to travel to various destinations. Leo enjoyed playing horseshoes, cards, or games on his computer. He was also a member of Elks Lodge 720. Above all else, Leo cherished time spent with his family the most.
In addition to his wife Sylvia, Leo is survived by his three children Normand Dube and his wife Cristin of Nashua, Amanda Dube of Merrimack, and Allison Wheldon and her husband Rich of Weare, NH, his six grandchildren Evelyn Dube, Brooklyn Furze, Bailey Furze, Rhyden Wheldon, Lainy Wheldon, and Garrett Wheldon, his two sisters Anita Woodside of Nashua, and Marie Pustola and her husband George of Rindge, NH and his brother in law Ted Cote and his wife Doris of Hudson, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and friends are invited to Leo's Visitation on TUESDAY, November 14th from 4 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His funeral mass will take place on WEDNSEDAY, November 15th at 10 AM at St. Louis Church, 48 West Hollis Street, Nashua. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donation in Leo's name to Toys for Tots, by visiting, https://secure.toysfortots.org/a/donatetoday
