Leo accepted Christ as his Lord and Savor at an early age. He was a member of the Mt Olive First Baptist Church in Gainesville, TX, where he served as a deacon for many years.
In his leisure time, Deacon Hennesy enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
On Friday, January 27, 2023, The Lord God, called Leo from his earthly tabernacle to his new home, a building not made by hands, eternal in the heavens.
He is survived by his wife, Charlesetta Hennesy of Gainesville, children; Tina Hennesy, Lisa Newman, Karen Peters, Marsha Harris, Rose Hatchett, Len Hennesy, Danny Hennesy, Terry Hennesy, Jerry Hennesy, Stanley Peters, John Jones and Rodger Harris, a host of grandchildren and other relatives.
