Leo Honosky, Sr., 81, husband of Velma Beeman Honosky, passed away Friday, August 9, 2024, at his home.
Mr. Honosky was born on August 15, 1942, in Gary, WV, son of the late Henry Honosky and Mary Spychala Honosky. He was a decorated United States Air Force Veteran, having served for 24 years and retired from the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base in 1983.
Surviving is his wife of 62 years, Velma Beeman Honosky; children, Leo (Trisha) Honosky, Jr., Tim (Jerri) Honosky, Kim Green, and Vicki (Al) Chiappini; grandchildren, Felicia Chiappini, Mikayla (Aaron) Chiappini-Helms, Austin (Marj) Green, Jade Ahlers, and Savanah Honosky; great grandchildren, Gracie Lynn Chiappini, Albert Helms, Anthony Helms, and Lainey Chiappini; siblings, Gladys (Donald) Dent, Mary (Victor) Johnson, and Pat (Dianne) Honosky; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service with Military Honors will be 12:00 PM, Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at McMillan-Small Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, at the funeral home.

Really nice man and was sweet to me. he will be missed.
