Leon Davenport Obituary
Friends may greet the family on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 2:00 pm until 6:15 pm at BURDAN FUNERAL HOME, 12901 Wicker Ave., Cedar Lake, IN 46303. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 6:15 pm, Father Patrick Gawrylewski, officiating. Inurnment with military honors will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 11:00am DIRECTLY at German Methodist Cemetery in Cedar Lake.
Leon was a loving husband, devoted father, and an amazing grandfather. He loved having friends over to play poker and chess. Leon served in the US Navy. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
