Funeral services for Leon Gordon Tuenge, 87, of Glen Rose, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the Cleburne First Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Harly Charles officiating. Burial will follow at Squaw Creek Cemetery in Somervell County.
Mr. Tuenge will lie in state from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2024, at Rosser Funeral Home.
Leon Tuenge passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024, in Fort Worth Texas. He was born on February 8, 1937, the son of Marie (Schappen) and Hugo Tuenge. Leon and Barbara Tuenge were maried on June 22, 1956 in Oklahoma. He was a residential builder and carpenter.
Mr. Tuenge is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 66 years, Barbara Tuenge; son, Randy Tuenge; and brothers, Norman and Marlin Tuenge.
He is survived by his daughter, Cathy Culp; sons, Mick and Rockey Tuenge; grandchildren, Chelsey Culp, John Culp and wife, Katie, Holly Meyer and husband, Travis, and Jessica Woodard and husband, Chris; great grandchildren, Rayne Meyer, Ty Meyer, Chloe Woodard, and Roxanne Culp; and many other family members and friends.
