Leona Saline

Leona Helene (née Schwartz) Saline of Cherry Hill, NJ, on May 24, 2025 at 90 years old, passed away peacefully with many of her family members by her bedside.
She was born on March 14, 1935 in Atlantic City Hospital (now Atlantic Care Regional Medical Center) to the late Simon and Ann Schwartz. She was a graduate of Overbrook High School and Glassboro State College (now Rowan University). Married on March 25, 1956 to the late Marvin Lee Saline and had three boys (Alan, Arthur and Jeffrey). She had a diverse work experience. First as an office manager, then as an elementary religious school teacher and finally as a hospital administrator assistant. She had several strong passions. From traveling the world, enjoying diverse culinary foods and spending time with her family, which she did all in earnest.
She is survived by her children: Alan, Arthur and Jeffrey (& wife Gail); four grandchildren: Eli (& wife Megan) Saline, Rachel (& husband Daniel) Van Pelt, Joshua (& wife Mallory) Saline and Dr. Austin (& wife Dr. Rosalie DePaola) Saline; five great grandchildren: Rory, Stevie Ann, Carter, Maisie and Skye Saline; and also cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to graveside funeral services on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 beginning 1:00 PM at Beth Kehilla Cemetery, 6687 Black Horse Pike, Egg Harbor Twp., NJ 08234. Following the funeral services, the family will be accepting guests beginning 3:30 PM at the Social Room at the Mark 70 Condominiums, 1840 Frontage Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034 on Tuesday only. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or the Animal Rescue.
