Ronald Jay Saline passed away peacefully with family by his side in Mesa, Arizona on December 9, 2023 at the age of 86.
Ronald was born on November 7, 1937 in Miami, Arizona to LaVon and Elva Maude Saline. He grew up in Mesa, Arizona and graduated from Mesa High School in 1957. Following graduation Ronald was called to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Finland. He then served in the Army National Guard.
On December 8, 1962 Ronald married the love of his life, Carmene Reynolds, and together they had two children, Jacy and Clarin. During the course of his life, Ronald was able to retire twice, once from AZ AgroChem for which he worked for over 25 years and then from ASU where he worked in their maintenance department for 12 years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, drawing, painting, and reading. Most of all he loved to attend as many sporting events and activities of his grandchildren as he could. Grandpa Ronnie was their biggest fan!!!
He was the kindest man, everyone that would meet him would always say that. He gave so much love and was loved by his family and all those that knew him. The world is going to miss him, Heaven is going to love him.
Ronald is predeceased by his wife Carmene and grandson Kyler Estrada.
He is survived by children Jacy Saline and Clarin Saline Estrada; grandchildren Lindsey Saline, Baylee Estrada Fish (James Fish), Jeremy Saline, Ryland Estrada (Jake Whillock), Lilly Estrada, Olivia Cox, Jaye Estrada, and granddaughter-in-law Alyssa Borden (grandson Kyler’s wife); great grandchildren Autumn and Brock McLemore (parents Baylee and James), Daylon Saline (parent Lindsey) and Walker Whillock (parents Ryland and Jake).
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 5:00 – 6:00 pm at Queen Creek North Stake Center, 22035 E. Ocotillo Road, Queen Creek, AZ 85142. A Viewing from 6:00 – 7:00 pm will follow the Funeral Service. Interment will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Eagar Cemetery, 295 W. 3rd Street, Eagar, Arizona 85925.
