Mrs. Sherry Lyn Rehatchek

Mrs. Sherry Lyn Rehatchek, 61, of Hauto Village, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family in her residence. She was the wife of Leonard E. Rehatchek Jr. They celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary on Dec. 23 of last year.

Born in Camden, N.J., she lived in Nesquehoning for past 43 years and was a daughter of Barbara Hilbmann of Florida and William Neely of Somers Point, N.J.

She was a graduate of Overbrook High School in Pine Hill, N.J.

She was employed as a circuit board assembler for Viking LLC, and you would also she her smiling face at Classic Beverage, Nesquehoning.

She was of the Lutheran faith.

She was a member of the Sokol Club, Nesquehoning, and the High Mountain Dirt Riders, Sugarloaf.

Surviving along with her husband and parents are a son, Leonard E. Rehatchek III of Nesquehoning; a daughter Erin, wife of Trevor Borger of Lehighton; sisters, Elia Marie Neely of Camden, N.J., Audra Neely of Jonestown and Kelly, wife of Frank Catrambone of Ventnor, N.J.; brothers, Christopher Neely of Atlantic City, N.J., Bill Neely, and his wife, Linda, of Belmar, N.J., and Erik Hilbmann of Richmond, Ind.; grandchildren, Ryder Rehatchek, William Cox, Ryder Borger and Brooke Rehatchek.

Services: A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, Aug. 31, from 1-3 p.m. at the Borger residence, 148 Eckhart Lane, Lehighton. In lieu of flowers or monetary donations, the family kindly asks you donate blood to the American Red Cross in honor of Sherry. She generously gave blood at every opportunity and was proudly recognized with the 5-Gallon Milestone for her lifelong commitment to helping others through blood donation.
