Lee Klevansky Weinstein passed away on January 24, 2026. She grew up in
Lock Haven, PA in a loving family full of her parents, grandparents, brother, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Lee attended Point Park College in Pittsburgh, where she earned her degree in dental hygiene. After graduating, she moved to
Harrisburg, PA to work for Dr. Grossman. It was there that she met her future husband, Mark Weinstein, who was home on leave from Vietnam while serving in the United States Marine Corps. They became engaged within six short weeks, married a year later, and shared nearly 59 wonderful years together. During that time, they raised three daughters-and a beloved dachshund named Schultz-in Susquehanna Township, PA.
Once her daughters were older, Lee worked as a paraprofessional at Central Dauphin High School. The faculty, staff, and students adored her, and she loved them right back.
Lee was a member of the Junior League, cherished her friends, and was passionate about anything Penn State, especially football. She was warm, kind, and generous, and had the uncanny ability to always make people around her feel welcome and good, even strangers. Above all, family was the heart of Lee's life. She was nurturing and protective of those she loved with unwavering strength.
Lee was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Bernice Klevansky, and son-in-law, Scott Eisen. She is survived by her loving husband, Mark Weinstein; her daughters, Jill Weinstein Eisen, Manda Weinstein Gold (Stephen), Alyssa Weinstein Fedetz; and her cherished grandchildren, Jacqueline, Eva, Jacob, Addison and Benjamin. Her devotion to those she loved will never be forgotten.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 11 A.M. at the Beth El Cemetery Chapel, 1100 S. Progress Avenue, Harrisburg, 17109, with Rabbi Ariana Capptauber officiating. Burial will follow in Beth El Cemetery.
