Leonard N. Bradner, age 75 of Smyrna, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, December 13, 2024. He was born October
28, 1949 in Morristown, NJ, the son of the late Lt Col Palmer and Leonara Pikaart Bradner.
Len's father was a career Air Force pilot, which resulted in his family living in many different places including New Jersey,
Washington, California, Germany, South Carolina and Georgia. He graduated from Chatham High School in New Jersey,
attended Berry College in Georgia and Fairleigh Dickenson University in New Jersey.
Given Len's eclectic upbringing he enjoyed many eclectic jobs, from installing bar equipment, to owning a bar he called The
Magic Bus, to long haul trucking. He ultimately found his niche through his love of technology when he studied to become an
IT specialist. He worked in the banking industry for more than 15 years. In 2003, Len and his wife Pauline started an IT
consulting business, where they traveled across the country assisting banks with technology needs until their retirement in
2017.
Len was strong in his beliefs while kind and generous to a fault. He made friends wherever he went. He was a loving husband
to Pauline and a great father to his daughter, Courtney, and her young family. And he was an especially loving grandfather. As
all his friends knew, Len lived life to the fullest. He was passionate about football, fast cars and motorcycles.
A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2025 in the chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home Smyrna, GA.
Mr. Bradner is survived by his wife Pauline (nee: Pargeans), daughter Courtney Lee Bradner Walsh and her husband James,
sisters Pamela Bradner Tippins and Sherry Bradner Wright and husband Kent, grandchildren Rylee Jane Walsh and Ross James Walsh, six nieces and nephews and ten grand nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his bother Palmer Bradner III and his brother-in-law Mell Tippins.
Those who wish may make contributions to their local hospice organization. Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna is in charge
of arrangements. www.carmichaelcares.com 770-435-4467
