Leonard Frano Obituary
Leonard (Lenny) Frano, lifelong Stamford resident, passed away on October 3rd. He was 88 years old. Lenny was one of two children born to the late William and Lucy (Racaniello) Frano.
Born July 10th, 1934 Lenny was an extremely hard worker who cared for his family and always knew how to make everyone around him smile. He is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Theresa "Terry" Cavalier, two loving daughters, Tracy Briscoe (Michael), Tammy Russo (Ray), two adored light up his life grandchildren, Jeffrey Wilson Jr (Kiersten), Kelly Tiscia (Michael) and a sister Marie Gallagi. He is predeceased by his son-in-law Michael Russo.
Lenny was a devout catholic and a parishioner for St. Cecilia's Church for over 60 years. He filled his time with lifelong friends going to the casino, playing cards and doing jigsaw puzzles which he would frame and gift them to family.
Visitation will be held at Lacerenza Funeral Home on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow, Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Cecilia's Church, 1184 Newfield Ave., Stamford, CT. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Darien, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lenny's memory to St. Cecilia's-St. Gabriel's Parishes (1184 Newfield Ave, Stamford, CT and 914 Newfield Ave., Stamford, CT).
