Leonard G. LaBounty Jr., 82, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025. He was born in Plattsburgh, New York on July 29, 1942, to Leonard and Valteina LaBounty, Sr. He served in the US Navy.

Lenny worked for Verizon for 30 years. He was a member of VFW Post 358 in Ballston Spa, American Legion Post 490 in Stillwater, and the Ballston Spa Elks Lodge 2619. When his kids were growing up, he volunteered with the Ballston Spa Jr Baseball League and Pop Warner. He enjoyed many fishing trips with his father and camping with friends.

Lenny is survived by his wife Linda, and their children Frank LaBounty (Lisa), Ernie LaBounty, and Michelle LaBounty, grandchildren Haleigh, Daytona, Lily, Sunni, and Christian, and great grandson Mason. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Carl.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Wednesday, July 30 from 5pm to 7pm at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9:30am on Thursday, July 31 at St Mary's Church, Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa. Burial with military honors will follow at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Road, Schuylerville.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of Lenny made be made to Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
