Roger Eickhoff, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, veteran, and friend, passed away peacefully in 2025 at the age of 88. Born on December 26, 1936, in Falls City, Nebraska, Roger lived a life defined by integrity, service, and deep love for his family.

Roger proudly served in the United States Navy, achieving the rank of Captain. His military service was a source of great pride and reflected his enduring commitment to duty and country.

After his time in the Navy, Roger pursued higher education, earning a Master's degree from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. His academic achievements led to a long and successful career in recruiting at PwC, where he was respected for his leadership, professionalism, and dedication.

Roger was first married to Linda Wilson Eickhoff, with whom he shared 21 years before her passing in 1979. He later found love again, and on August 7, 1983, he married Karen (Chilton) Eickhoff. Together, they built a blended family that brought him endless joy and purpose.

Roger is survived by his beloved wife, Karen, and his five children: Kyle Eickhoff (Gina), Melissa Zieker (Chris), Alicia DePaola (Mark), Briana Brumaghim (Ellen Roth), and Melanie Manuel. He is also survived by his grandchildren, who were his pride and joy: Phillip DePaola, Tyler Zieker, Olivia DePaola, Allison Zieker, Luke Manuel, Kellen Manuel, Cady Brumaghim, Chloe Brumaghim, and Emily Eickhoff.

A man of deep principle and quiet strength, Roger's legacy is one of service, loyalty, and unconditional love. He will be remembered for his wisdom, humility, and unwavering support of those he held dear.

A burial of Roger's ashes will take place at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, located at 200 Duell Road, Saratoga, NY, on Wednesday, August 6th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to attend and honor a life well lived.
