Leonard "Lenny" Raposa, aged 80, passed away on July 15, 2025, in Hebron, NH. Born on February 19, 1945, Leonard graduated from La Salle Academy in Providence, RI, and soon after began a career in construction.

Leonard proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War, where he was an Ordinance Supply Specialist for the Combat Airborne, 101st and 173rd Airborne Brigades. After his military service, he returned to Rhode Island where he worked for the Town of Bristol Public Works Department for several years before relocating to New Hampshire. He worked in construction for a few years before transitioning to a role with the State of New Hampshire where he eventually retired with over 27 years of service.

At home, Lenny found joy in the simple pleasures of working around the yard and tending to his gardens as well as tackling many home improvement projects. He was an active member of his local Rifle Club, where he enjoyed honing his skills and engaging with other enthusiasts.

He leaves behind a loving family: his wife, Jacqueline Raposa; his son, Paul Aguiar Jr.and his partner Steve McDermod of Bridgewaer NH; and his brother, Richard and his wife Joan Raposa of Bristol RI. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rose Raposa, and his brother Gregory Raposa. His gentle presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
