Leonel E. Urzua

Leonel Esturado Urzua, a cherished husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on March 2, 2024, in Staten Island, NY, at the age of 41. Born on June 30, 1982, in Guatemala, Leonel's life was a testament to the joy and love he brought to everyone around him.
Leonel was the beloved husband of Yenisse Gonzalez and a devoted father to his four children, Anais, Sariya, Leana, and Princeton. He was a loving son to Ana Urzua and the late Leonel Urzua Sr., and a caring brother to Christopher Urzua. His role as a godfather to Kaylee Urzua was one he held close to his heart, As well as many more loved ones.
Leonel's early years were spent in Guatemala, where the foundation of his strong family values was laid. He graduated from Wagner High School, where he was known for his intelligence and adventurous spirit. Leonel's passion for life was evident in his career as a CDL Driver, where he was respected by his colleagues for his hard work and dedication.
Music, vacations, and great food were some of Leonel's favorite pleasures. He believed in living life to the fullest and cherished the time spent with family and friends. His love for adventure took him to many places, creating unforgettable memories with those he loved.
Leonel's intelligence was matched by his loving nature. He was the kind of person who would light up a room with his presence and make everyone feel at home. His adventurous spirit inspired others to explore and enjoy the beauty of the world.
