76 years old * Neptune, N.J
Survived by his beloved wife Veronica Arias Urzua of 54 years and 4 children: Ailyn Urzua, Radley Urzua, Luis Urzua Jr., Dyllon Urzua and 2 grandchildren: Daniel Urzua and Mikayla Cosgrove.
Born on May 15, 1948, Passed away in the comfort of his home on May 31, 2024.
Blunt of a man with a brilliant mind. Born and raised in Santiago, Chile; came to the United States as an immigrant with his wife seeking for bigger and better opportunities to raise a family.
High school graduate with an associate's degree; always raising his standards to further educate himself. From taxi driver, truck driver, chemical tank owner operator - Hazmat certified, jewelry making to Designer, Inventor and Manufacturer of Spray Foam Insulation System.
For 35 years Louie was a New Jersey Master Licensed Contractor, Designer and Installer of Radiant Floor; Hydronic Systems. He is a US Patent owner for a single and double electrical cable holder strip. His ambitions, talents and way of thinking surpassed today's technology; much to be inspired by and admirer.
There will be a small service for immediate family only. Thank you to all for the love and support shown. He will be truly missed.

Desafortunadamente solo ayer supe de el fallecimiento de Berardo
Crecimos juntos, era mi vecino cuando viviamos en Chile, pasamos nuestra etapa de ninez a adolescencia juntos, hubiera sabido que emigramos a USA juntos habria tratado de re encontrarnos, habria sido una linda sorpresa; uno de los momentos felices de nuestra ninez es cuando saliamos en bicicleta i yo en patines y nos lanzabamos por Simon Bolivar en la bajada de el Canal San Carlos hacia abajo y el vuelo a veces nos llevaba hasta casi Avenida Ossa, a veces se nos unia Sigfrido (Mujica) que vivia en la esquina de Simos Bolivar con Monsenor Edwards
Ya mas grandes ibamos a la Piscina Rosan cerca de nuestras casa a conocer "chiquillas" como se llamaban en nuestro pais
Buena persona, buen amigo, buena familia, buen vecino

Luis Berardo, tuvimos una entretenida amistad en La Reina, Chile durante nuestros tempranos años de adolescencia. Buen amigo, divertido. Recuerdo una vez se accidentó un tobillo mientras andaba en un monopatín prestado, muy asustado que podría convertir en gangrena. Fuí con él a la casa de un pediatra que vivía en Echeñique. En el portón de su casa había un letrero que así lo decía. Tocamos el timbre y salió a contestar, le mostramos la herida y recuerdo nos dió un billete de $5 para qu fuéramos a la posta. No recuerdo que pasó depués. La última vez que hablé con Berado fué por teléfono, el año 1975, me contó que vivía en New Jersey y que tenía una vida complicaday estaba afligido. No recuerdo si volvimos a comunicarnos.
Ayer leí en su orbituario que llevó una vida ocupada y exitosa, por lo que me alegra. Me apenó saber de su defunción.
