Leonora Janobas Bugna

Leonora Janobas Bugna 94, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 7th, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on July 1st, 1929, in Oton, Iloilo Philippines to the late Sergio J. Janobas and Maria C. Catusan, She was the oldest of five children.
Leonora graduated from Central Philippine University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Commerce. She worked in the accounting department of the Department of Health where she was loved and respected by her co-workers. She married the love of her life and devoted loving husband, Teodulfo H. Bugna. They have three children, Maria Lourdes, Elizabeth, and Maria who was born in 1964 at 37 weeks and passed away 3 days later.
Leonor can be best described as loving, patient, kind, devoted, selfless, supportive, strong, resilient, and nurturing not only to her children and grandchildren but also to her four brothers, her nieces, nephews, in-laws, grand nieces and nephews and extended family members and friends.
Leonora is survived by her daughters Maria Lourdes Bugna Paredes (Jorge), and Elizabeth Janobas Bugna, and her grandson Gerard Francis B. Paredes. She is survived by her brothers Abundio Janobas (Luisa) and David (Lenita) who reside in the Philippines, and many nieces, nephews, and numerous relatives.
Leonora is preceded in death by her husband Teodulfo H. Bugna, brother Teodorico C. Janobas (Lolita), and Romeo C. Janobas of Iloilo, Philippines.
A funeral mass will be held along with family and friends at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Friday, April 19th, 2024, at 11:00 am, Father Gonzalo Torres will be officiating.
