Leonora Cirello (nee Zichelli), 94, of Lodi, passed away on March 2, 2023. Born and raised in Montclair, she settled in Lodi in 1952. Before retiring Leonora was an administrative assistant at Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Lodi and she was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Virgin R.C. Church. Beloved wife of the late Lodi Police Department Captain Michael J. Cirello. Devoted mother of Michael D. Cirello and wife Kathleen, and the late Thomas P. Cirello. Loving grandmother of Kristen Nicolicchia and husband Tommy, Kassandra Cirello, Melissa Walker and husband Sean, and Megan Cirello. Cherished great-grandmother of Lilliana, Joseph, and Thomas. Dear sister of Michael Zichelli, Robert Zichelli, and the late Nikki DeAngelis, Mary Mastrodomenico, Antoinette Caniano, Frank Zichelli, and Jenni Conti. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday 10:30 AM at Di Chiara Funeral Home, 300 Main St., Lodi then to Our Lady of Mt. Virgin R.C. Church for an 11:30 AM Funeral Mass. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Saddle Brook. Visitation Monday 4:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. https://www.stjude.org/donate/
