Leota Hosman Obituary
Leota Faye Hosman, 91, of Utopia, Bandera County, Texas passed away on July 6, 2024, at Peterson Regional Hospital in Kerrville, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 11a.m. to 9 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Sabinal.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Utopia Baptist Church.
Interment will follow at Waresville Cemetery.
She was born on May 6, 1933, in Vanderpool, Texas to Lola Mae (Clayton) and Abner Wilson Clayton.
She married Wesley Edgar Hosman on March 29, 1958, in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.
She is survived by her daughter, Kara Hosman of Utopia; three sons, Keith Hosman of Utopia, Kevin Hosmann of Valencia, California, and Kyle Hosman of Kettering, Ohio; six grandchildren, Ariel English, Luke Hosmann, Clay Hosmann, Zoë Hosmann, Wesley Hosman, and Madden Hosman; and five greatgrandchildren; Lily Hosmann, Ruby Hosmann, Skyler Hosman, Autumn English, and Hunter English.
She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and siblings, James Abner Clayton, Helen Schimmelpfenning, Harold Ray Clayton, Bernice Kilborn, Addie Jane Chaney, Abner “Slick” Wilson Clayton, Finis “Hooter” Ewing Clayton, and Cora Mae Cochran.
