It is with heavy hearts that the family of Leroy L. Greer Jr must announce his untimely departure from our physical world on October 16th, 2022 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Leroy was 34 years old. He was a deep thinker, a natural born theorist. He had a deep-rooted sense of curiosity for the world and for the universe. Leroy was passionate about everything he did. He loved to draw, to create art & music. He enjoyed bringing ideas to life. He had unwavering love for his family and close friends. All of the children in his life remember how nice he was, his attention to them and his love for them. He connected with them in a way that was unmatchable.

Leroy loved his daughter, Haidyn, more than life. He lived for her. He was working hard on improving himself as a person to be better for her. He often talked of a stuffed bat beanie baby that he desperately wanted to give to her. His family will ensure that his beloved daughter gets her bat.

Leroy is survived by two beautiful children, Haidyn and Paul, his parents, Roberta [Aaron] Clark & Leroy [Elizabeth] Greer, and siblings Sarah [Justin] Burns, Joshua [Victoria] Clark, Jessica [Tyler] Groff, and Stephanie [Jeffrey] Lichtfuss, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and friends.

Leroy is preceded in death by his sister, Abbee Barker, grandparents Rolland & Jeanne Pyetzki [McNeil] who loved each other and their only grandson immensely, his dear friend, Sean Barber and other friends who left this world prematurely.

May Leroy's soul meet the souls of his predecessors in the universe beyond ours. May his survivors feel his presence, his love, and fondly share his legacy. The family suggests that should you wish to honor Leroy's memory, please plant a tree. He loved Mother Nature and gave Her all his gratitude.

A memorial will be held as a Celebration of Life on Sunday, November 13th, 2022, at 10am, at Trujillo Family Funeral Homes, 110 Alvarado Drive SE Albuquerque, NM 87108.
