Wilbraham- Leroy C. Vickery,84, passed away peacefully on September 19 , 2025. He was a son of the late Chester and Bernice (Ethier) Vickery. Leroy was born and raised in Pittsfield, MA and proudly served in the US NAVY. He later attended Berkshire Community College and studied computer science. He worked for several years at Coke Cola in Pittsfield, KB Toys, and Carando Meats in Springfield, MA. Following Carando he worked for Waterbury Garment in Waterbury, Ct, and in his later years he Painted Houses and called themselves Senior Painters. Leroy was a dedicated family man who enjoyed listening to Elvis, doing yard work on his John Deer tractor and spending time with his family. He will be missed by his beloved wife Barbara (Oparowski) Vickery of over 57years., his sons Darren Vickery and his partner Andrea Marc-Aurele, Brian Vickery, grandsons Alex and Dylan Vickery. He was predeceased by his sister and 2 brothers. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 10:30AM at the St. Josephs Cemetery, 222 Pecks Road, Pittsfield, MA.
