Lesley "Gannaway" Gannaway

Lesley Ann Gannaway was born to Joe and Lois Gannaway on March2, 1969 in El Reno, Oklahoma.

A celebration of life services will be scheduled at a later date.

Lesley grew up in Childress, Texas where she graduated from Childress High School in 1987, where she also met her soulmate. She soon married Paul Abrego on May 7, 1988 and they started their family and moved to Collinsville, Texas where she became a nurse for many years. She lost her soulmate in 2000 and moved back to Childress to raise her children. She was the proudest mom. She loved being a mom more than anything. She absolutely loved being the fun "Awma" to her 7 grandchildren. She had a special relationship with each one. She was her children's and grandchildren's biggest supporter. She was proud of her family and loved watching them thrive in all aspects of life. Lesley was a free spirit that went against the grain to always be her own person. She was loved by many and one of the most beautiful women inside and out. You were blessed with many memories if she ever crossed your path. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother and "Awma".

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Abrego; father, Allen Joe Gannaway; grandparents, Clifford and Lela Gannaway; grandparents, Leslie and Katheryn Johnson.

Daughter - BreAnna Zuniga and husband, Abel of Childress, TX.

Mother - Lois Gannaway of Childress, TX.

Brother - Rory Gannaway and wife, Sherry of Amarillo, TX.

Brother - Randy Gannaway of Childress, TX.

Brother - Leland Gannaway and wife, Denise of Houston, TX
