Leslie Eva Lovre

Leslie Eva Lovre, 58, of Royersford, PA, beloved wife of R. Scott King, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024, at the Phoenixville Hospital, after a brief illness.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the cherished daughter of John Michael and Evelyn Marie (Mezerski) Lovre.
Family, friends, and colleagues know that Leslie was generous, caring, and selfless, always placing others' needs before her own. With her welcoming and disarming way, Leslie made sure to engage and involve others in conversation and activities resulting in many fast, but true friendships. Leslie was very proud of her parents, both life-long educators, becoming a college professor herself, sharing her passion for marketing and advertising. She also learned from her parents the importance of family. The results of those lessons are most evident in her two children, whom she loved fully, nurtured thoughtfully, and protected fiercely. Leslie had a happy spirit, an extraordinary charm, and a brilliant wit. The source of many happy family times, Leslie often sharpened that wit on her defenseless husband, whom she deeply loved, supported, and protected throughout their twenty-year marriage. Most recently, Leslie was blessed to enjoy family time at her New Jersey beach home where she was able to relax, read, craft, and explore, often forcing herself to detach from her professional responsibilities at the forensic engineering firm where she worked passionately for nearly 30 years. Leslie touched many lives, making those around her better for it. That is her enduring legacy.
Surviving along with her husband and parents is her son Andy Lovre-Smith; daughter Sophia Marie King; sister Lori Burgman wife of Jack; nephews Alec and Will Burgman; and numerous loving family and friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, November 22, 2024, at 11:00 AM at St. Teresa of Calcutta, 256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held Friday from 10:00-10:45 AM, also at the church.
Flowers may be received at the church although Charitable donations made, in Leslie's memory, to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation ( www.nationalpcf.org ) would be most coveted.
